17 March 2024- CEO office conducts ‘Election Run’ to encourage young voters to exercise their right to vote. Photo
ELECTION RUN 2024 - The run was organized by Office of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) in collaboration with 'Service to Mankind' NGO as a part of Systematic Voter's Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP). The theme for the event was 'Nothing like voting, I vote for sure.'
The objective of the run was to generate awareness with special focus on young voters in view of the upcoming General Election 2024. Around 530 runners participated in the run.

Mr VB Pathak, Chief Secretary flagged off the 'Election Run' from MG Marg, Gangtok.
Mr D Anandan, Chief Electoral Officer, Sikkim in his address, extended his warm wishes to everyone in attendance. He emphasized on targeting the youth to make them aware about their voting rights and applauded the high percentage of voters in the State.
